Namaste
Welcome to the Art of Sensual Touch Blog
Before I start talking all things Tantra I want you to stand up and move your body. Yes, that’s right, dance, move and stretch that body – Get that sexy body that you have moving around the room. Lets boost your energy!! Did you know that dancing has been described as “the vertical expression of a horizontal desire”? So allow yourself to arrive in your body…
I am really excited to be writing this blog because the art of sensual touch has always been my favourite subject to talk about, and finally I can talk openly as I learn to connect my heart and my sexuality. Every month I will bring you new teachings on sex and the body, relationships, spirituality and the mind, universal love, energy, healing and other blissful subjects. I will write about my own experiences and share those of others that I have met along my wonderful Tantra journey. I will bring you stories of over coming adversity, intimacy, love and life in general. I will also bring you teachings from world-renowned Tantra teachers.
With the start of this blog I invite you to open your mind, your heart and your pelvic area (oops!). And come with me on this yummy and blissful journey into the world of Tantra
I understand that people are very curious about Tantra, yet unfortunately most have a rather misinformed idea of what Tantra is. But don’t worry; 10 years ago I did too. Fast forward to the present day and I feel very privilege to have been given an opportunity to immerse myself in Tantra and be truly awakened to life and its possibilities. Tantra has brought about such positive change in my life, particularly in dealing with two failed marriages and having to watch my parents’ intimate connection break down and lead them into depression.
…Without wanting to get all depressing – after all this blog is about positivity, fun and relaxation – I just want to let you know that Tantra can be a rainbow in your life as it has mine. If you are interested in deepening the connection of your current relationship, finding out more about your sexuality or simply picking up some great tips to rev up your sex life, Tantra definitely deserves to be explored.
When you think about Tantra consider these points:
- Tantra is not a religion and anyone can do it. You can follow your own spiritual beliefs and practice Tantra at the same time.
- Tantra does not focus on the person you make love with, but instead focuses on how you make love. In a Tantric relationship you respect and appreciate your partner as the other half of yourself. You honour each other with love and tenderness.
- Tantra teaches you to be more present in life. It teaches you to appreciate and become more aware of your body. Tantra helps you let go of expectations capable of triggering anxiety and insecurity. Tantra teaches you to honour your sexual partner instead of seeing them simply as an object of sex or desire.
- Tantra doesn’t just enhance your sex life, but also makes your entire existence more rewarding.
There is so much to learn that Tantra can quite literally become a way of life. Welcome to your new life, it starts today!
